Trade Union Speaker Tour and map of STOP EU-Mercosur Activities

The proposed EU-Mercosur trade deal has been widely criticized over its impact on the environment – but that’s not the only problem with it. The deal, between the European Union and the Mercosur countries (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay) also threatens to undermine workers rights. Between November 21 and December 1, trade union leaders from Argentina will travel across Europe with representatives from the European Trade Union Confederation to hold a series of meetings, Talking to MPs, MEPs, trade unionists, journalists, activists and the public about why we must Stop the EU-Mercosur Trade Deal to protect workers rights and public services.

Andrés Larisgoitia, Secretary of International Affairs at Central de Trabajadoras de Argentina, and Marita Gonzalez, Secretary of International Affairs at Confederation of Workers of Argentina will be in;
