Civil society statement on the Indonesia-EU negotiations (February 2018) This statement, signed by more than 50 civil society organisations from Indonesia and Europe, sets out pre-conditions and red lines for the negotiations of the Indonesia-EU agreement. Checklist: Testing the Indonesia-EU agreement (Friends of the Earth Europe, July 2018) In this checklist, the draft texts of the European Commission were tested according to a range of criteria focusing on sustainability, human rights and democratic participation. The draft texts scored only 4.5 out of 20 points – a clear fail.
