2025 marks the 25th anniversary of what began as the Seattle to Brussels Network, now the European Trade Justice Coalition. The Network sought to bring the spirit of the anti-globalisation movement that showed its strength at the Battle of Seattle protests in 1999 against the World Trade Organisation, to EU trade policy. The 25th Anniversary of the network will be an opportunity to reflect on where we have come from, celebrate our victories, connect with allied movements and strategize about our future work.
What, Where and When? We are planning a day-long Conference in Brussels (venue LaVallée) on Monday 22 September, followed by a party in the evening. The Conference will run from approximately 09.30 – 17.30 and the party will run from approximately `19.00 to 23.00.
